thrust vectors are a great addition to our 2014 limited s,,, night and day

I own 2014 242 Limited S. It moves around tight spot extremely well, especially during docking in tight spaces; thanks to the twine engine where I can control individually to turn any where I want at slow speed. Lots of people concern about low speed maneuverbility, but do not worry, twine engine will make it turn any where you want in a blink of an eye. I can turn 360 degree at the same pivot point between docks. Turning radius is the same length as the boat itself. I had the choice to choose between Regal and Yamaha for the same money, and I chose Yamaha because of the jet engine. It does not run like a jet ski. How do I know? Because I also own a SVHO yamaha waverunner. I fix the engine noise problem by installing a new thicker sound insulation and it dramatically reduce noise. When I cruise at 30 MPH, the wind noise will overcome the engine noise so engine noise is no longer a concern at 30MPH and above speed. At slow speed, new sound insulation keep noise down at comfortable level for my ears. It run very quick on plane to 30MPH in four seconds and make me smile every time. It looks beautiful and stand out in the crowd of other boats. Random people like my boat more than any other boats. The twine engine have higher pitch sound, like a VTEC engine of my turbo S2000. It seats 11 people comfortably. I also have the grill and I do BBQ everytime I am out. Tons of people watching me doing BBQ at the dock because it is so cool. Here are the major facts why I think this boat is cool.
1. Very fast
2. Turn quickly and high and slow speed.
3. Total control of maneuverbility at slow speed during docking.
4. No worry about props cutting my children feet during swimming at stern.
5. I can beach easily
6. Beautiful
7. Eye catchy, tons of people love it.
8. Run smooth at fast at choppy water.
9. Twine engine look and sound cool
I love it, my only wish is to have built-in chartplotter at the dash. -
I've been in this boat many times and there are things he has forgotten to mention.
The ride is jerky and uncomfortable. Not smooth like an inboard. Rides like a giant jet ski. Also the tower has issues because the tow rope is constantly rubbing on the bimini top when open and will cause wear after a period of use. Never felt like this boat stuck down in the water like any of my inboards did. Last thing. The spray from the wake this boat puts out whether on a tube or skis always seems to be right in your face. Never had that problem with an inboard either. -
Is the new 2013 model with less engine noise?? I would like to hear one, maybe someone has one running so we can hear how loud the new 2013 models are?

The handling is stiff and the engine sounds more like a bunch of bees in a tin can...very hard on the ears.....

hey good for you. This is one hell of a boat (those japs) think of everything. True it might not have all the eye candy that some other makers do have but it definitely has everything you need from reliability, fuel efficiency, space and is good looking as well :-)

@goateemike72 i bought this boat last summer, and love it. i worried about the trim too, but you don't need it AT ALL. go test drive it, you'll be amazed at the speed and handling.

@Ionizap 1 engine per jet, and this way you get speed and fuel efficiency

i really really dig this boat...but,,,i have some questions. i am concerned with this "no trim",, how does it ride? it appears to ride with the nose a little low. also,, wouldn't mind if it was a little faster. (i think) i really need to drive one to see how it handles. and ,,,,,i would really really dig this boat even more if was in the low 40's instead of the high 40's... great boat, but not a cheap boat....
