which is better, this one or the beneteau oceanis 41.1 or jeanneau sun odyssey 41 ds ?

Looks like a a nice liveaboard, but above decks and Sail plan look Qwerky. Wouldnt buy one but If it was being raffled away I would drop my ticket in.. =)

I love Bavaria 42

I just found the boat that caught my attention back in 1989. It's the 'Tayana' ,... made in China, and just beautiful!
Made with lots of wood for that warm feeling.
Very cozy looking.
I'd like to see a review of this boat if/when possible.

How often do these boats flip on the high seas if ever?
Plus, is anyone familiar with the sailboats made in Taiwan, and are shipped over in there separate pieces?
I cannot remember the name of the company. And they came in two sizes, 27' and 47' foot.

Great presentation!

This guy does the best reviews. Have not seen him for quite some time now. He is the only one I found that actually gives an honest review and states positive and negative aspects. I suspect the builders complained and refused to have him review their boats, also withholding advertising money from YM. All the other so called "reviews" are simply BS advertisements.

how are residuals on those? must be massively lower after a year or two...kinda like buying a car new - or not. Anyway, I like Chris's reviews . . . .

I'm in Massachusetts looking for a donated boat for a beginner. 25-33 foot? I have a yard donated for storage and fixing up.  Don't have a mooring as yet.

Jib overlap too small, pathetic,,,,,,

all these lockers ojn top, and if the boat inverts what a load of damage it will suffer.

I think he may be wrong about the main sheet. The boat looks really well built. You can't please over 6' tall as well as 5'1".

An in mast fuller is an automatic fail for me.
