in this case  port to port (side)  the big ship must  maneuver in her starboard side to avoid the collision

The proper thing to do here, would've been to halt engines and full rudder to port side. If the helmsman of the smaller vessel would've considered this, they would likely avoid a head on collision, let alone even have one.

Nothing can be said about this, only that, I hope no fatalities occurred.

Smaller/oncoming vessel has the right of way, but both captains are pretty much stupid for letting this happen.

the boat approaching overrides the patron ship (the video) have to realize that if you see a ship by its port side has to turn to starboard. At night for example A BOAT when navigating to your left (port) a red light and his starboard side (right) green. in the collision of two ships, the ship that comes to us shows us his port side (red light) so .. we have to completely turn sharply to our right (our green light)
