I have read all of the information I could find about the XPRESS Bass Boats & have yet too see any mention of livewell capacities in them? Is it a secret or what? It's important information as is what time of livewell system circulation pumps, oxygen system(if any) & other recirculating pumps. If anyone knows where this information is listed Please share it so others may also find it since I'm sure I'm not the only person wondering about these items. Also since I am a Mercury & Motorguide Man can these boats be purchased rigged out with Mercury Outboards & a Motorguide Hand Controlled trolling motor from the factory? If not those items would rule me out as a possible buyer.I have no use for a Yamaha outboard or Minn Kota trolling motor & those items are deal breakers for me.Mercury Marine has more service centers than any other & they have been very good to me & reliable as have Motorguide trolling motors. Thanks for any information & God bless! {:>)

Xpress makes quality boats there at the top of mass produced aluminum boats I own a 1870vj 2003 and never had a problem . I think you could have gotten a bad boat or that particular model may have had issues . I have also seen owners not putting it on the trailer right stressing the hull or over weighting the boat stuff like that

I thought Xpress made good boats...until i bought one and the hull cracked on one of the bends in the aluminum. I had the dealer tig weld it back twice. Still has a crack in it today and im about to send it off somewhere else to get it welded a third time. All the screws keep backing out. Every 2 or 3 times i go out i have to go through the boat and retighten all the screws. The console came loose and i had to replace all the screws with stainless bolts so the console will stay in place while im driving. The way the boat was designed, it is impossible to fuel up at a marina. I have to trailer the boat and go to the gas station and put the boat back into the water, all because the fill point is slightly lower than the tank when it is in the water. I have talked with two other Xpress boat owners and they have the same problem as me.

Great stuff. I'd love to see a series of videos on your bass boats from build to fit and finish.
