I believe it I watched a World at War which said there where U Boats in the Caribbean when Edward VIII was governor there. They were a pest performing acts of Piracy until Captain Walker invented the Hedgehog a bundle of depth charges set at differing depths which literally blew them clean out of the water.

This story needs to be updated. It wasn't a uboat and everyone freaked out over nothing. Submarine couldn't have got that far up river anyway.

Thanks for running the same story twice in the video. as my memory these days just isn't what it used to be.
Beg pardon, could you please ell me what the story is again? -
It may be that it is actually older than WWII. There was submarines built in Canada in WWI called Holland 602. Many were ordered by the Russians and shipped overseas. This could be a early test bed or prototype vessel. Since it's loss was never recorded maybe it was Classified at the time and keep secret for nearly a hundred years. See Link for more detail. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holland_602_type_submarine#Royal_Canadian_Navy

Sounds like the crew scuttled her. If it's a Nazi sub.

Müde Story.
Brushing my teeth means much more to me ... -
the snorkel was usually at the conning tower, but the nazi's were trying lots of things in the last 2 years of the war. If its a uboat with a snorkel near the bow, its history. And if any of its crew or captain defected, this has remained an intimate fact for 70 years. Ask the Canadian government?

I live right next to one of the last U boat towers in the USA. It was used to spot German U boats during ww 2. About a month ago we had a bad storm and I found a ww2 mortor round on the beach.
