Man, this game is shit! When I still played, at least I could enjoy a reasonable plane combat, but the rest is shit. Since WarThunder had bad patches and I had to re-download and install so many times, I even gave up the plane action and totally uninstalled it for good. It seems I haven't missed anything really worth coming back for.

No, not 450 20mm rounds, its 450 reloads for your quad 20mm, so 450 x 20 round clip x 4 guns = 36,000 20mm rounds

The barges were used to guard coastal convoys against pt boat attacks. They never went much father than 5 miles off shore and stayed in shallow waters.

A boat surviving a torpedo hit of any kind. Ok other than a dud, that is BS. It should be smithereens. There shouldn't even be a wreckage remaining.

The Atlantic and pacific theaters of WW2, everyone knows them for... fishing boats with guns on them?

IIRC they were called F-Lighters and were used in Mediterranean along Italian coast to move supplies. They were slow but very well armed and armored. US PT Boats operating in MTO had problems dealing with them.
