The stunning exterior of the yacht is meant to mimic the jaw and eye socket of large fish and mammals of the ocean. The interior, while being very stylish, is extremely futuristic. 15- The Rising Sun –Built for a cool $200million and fully bought in 2010 by David Geffen, The Rising Sun is the 11th largest yacht in the world. Some of its spectacular features include, 82 rooms on 5 levels with a total living area of 86,000 sqft, onyx countertops, Jacuzzi bathrooms, gym, wine cellar, private theater, and basketball court that doubles as a helipad. 14- Alysia – A luxury yacht owned by a Greek business man, the Alysia was built in 2006 for $13 million. This ship has a giant Jacuzzi, two outside bars, water jets, diving and fishing equipment. There’s also a private theater and small restaurant on board. 13- Al Mirqab – Notably one of the largest motor yachts ever built, the Al Mirqab belongs to the former Prime Minister of Qatar. This yacht took $250 million to build and can accommodate 24 guests in 10 suites with 2 VIP suites for the owners to use. 12- Dilbar – The Dilbar was built in 2008 and now belongs to political businessman ALisher Usmanov, who named the ship after his mother. One of the largest yachts in the world, it requires a crew of 47 to keep it running smoothly. The inside was designed by interior designer Alberto Pinto. 11- Al Said – This superyacht is named after its owner, Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said. It can house 70 people and even has a concert hall built inside that can accommodate a large orchestra. 10- ORSOS Island – This man-made floating island is pretty spectacular. Created by an Austrian firm, the Orsos Island offers six bedrooms, underwater karaoke suite, Jacuzzi, aquarium and barbeque. 9- Superyacht A – This yacht is considered one of the most remarkable yachts in the world. Designed by Philippe Starck, Superyacht A has an upside down hull that makes it truly unique. This ship can accommodate 14 guests and 37 crew members. One of its cool features is a glass roof looking up into one of its swimming pools. 8- Dubai – This yacht is currently owned by the Sheik of Dubai and is the third largest yacht in the world. It cost roughly $400 million to build and can hold more than 115 guests. It also has a glass staircase, just in case you forget how very fancy it really is. 7- Eclipse – The Eclipse is the second largest private yacht and cost approximately $380 million to build. It features 24 guestrooms, two swimming pools, two helicopter pads, and a mini-submarine that is capable of submerging to over 160 feet. 6- Lady Moura – Lady Moura is a private luxury yacht and is owned by a Saudi Arabian businessman. To add to the glamor of this beautiful ship, it has 24 karat gold lettering and embellishments. It can accommodate 30 guests and 60 crew members. 5- Ambrosia – Designed to cruise around the world, the Ambrosia is one of the most technologically advanced yachts on our list. While it’s both fuel efficient and an incomparable safety level, the Ambrosia’s so stunningly gorgeous on the inside, it is a true thing of beauty. 4- Pelorus – The word pelorus means “keeping on course” and for $130 million it better! Bought by Russian businessman Roman Abramovich in 2004, the Pelorus employs a 46 person crew, has two helipads, and a garage full of water toys. In 2009, Abramovich’s ex-wife received the yacht in their divorce. 3- Eos – Just in case you don’t know who owns this yacht, there’s a 300 foot sculpture of her displayed on deck. Owned by fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, the Eos can hold up to 16 guests and employs two chefs, nine deck crew and captains and stewardesses. 2- Streets of Monaco – We dare your jaw not to drop when you see this next mega yacht.
