The only excuse you have for capsizing a catamaran is sailor error.
-
Maybe the the gay sized rudders had something to do with it?
-
funny guys lolz
-
Obviously the much vaunted "stomp pedal" needs work.
-
All he had to do was point into wind and it stops. easiest way to stop capsize. no wind no fall over.
-
The cat sailors curse, where to dive when you capsize. Having sailed 2 man dingy class cats we both had our spot to dive to just in case. lol
-
You foil a cat, you be know how to sail her.
-
gunboats are for pro experienced multihulls racing crews..
-
the first thing the helsman should ve done when feeling such heeling and troubled sheets is turn to leeward about 15 degrees and the pressure on sails would have come off saving the day.
-
When sailing like this you need to have the main held by hand and NOT cleated .... Note the main was NOT let off at all and the head sail did not go off completely .... looked like a trapped sheet...... Lesson learned ???
-
the also turned to port, thus increasing the flying haul.......anybody with hobbie time knows that. Bizzar the hang time they had yet could not recover it.
-
they never dumped the main
-
9:04 Amazing you can actually hear the sea instead of music all the time.
-
very hard to do but pulling away is the go.
