Jesse jesse, call frank up in Michigan about World Cat stress cracks. He was one of their dealers and a brand new boat he had sitting on his showroom floor had stress cracks from just sitting. Frank tried to get good ol Phyllis and Andrew Brown to fix the boat but last I talked to him all they did was.....nothing!!!! BTW Frank is no longer a dealer for World Cat.
Call Phyllis she can give you Frank's number. My boat case ended up in Federal court and we proved 8 of 9 elements the World Cat committed fraud. I would say that says it all. -
that was rubbish, didnt even go past the heads and punch into it for a while, weak as piss as it proved nothing. The only decent true Shark Cats are made in Australia and nothing else is anything else but an inferior copy.

Since 2005 World Cat boats get stress cracks just sitting at the dock or on the trailer. Every one I have ever looked at had stress cracks everywhere. Phyllis Manning at WC headquarters said ALL fiberglass boats get stress cracks....I think she is smoking crack. Only lousy built boats get stress cracks all over them was my response.

wow, dude. What rock did you crawl out from under? Just goes to show, anyone can post anything on the internet. where, in what world, boat test/magazine did you see a deep v outperforming a cat?? i've been on GBAY/ Worldcat/ Seacat, they blow single hulls away. There is a great video series right here on Youtube called CAT Myths, watch it. Editor of SWater Mag, knows a bit more than you.

So. About that part where he went in big waves. Where was that
-
Get out there you big pussy .....
-
What a POS!!! Fucking pussy turns around before he gets into any real shit! Regulator will eat that boat alive!
-
Fucking WOW. Its barley even bobbing (bobing, bobbling?). Love it

The super Cat diesel that fished in the canyons of the Atlantic suffered severe hull damage due to the beating taken from ocean swells...and that was years ago too. Lessons were un-learned. The makers of pontoon boats warn buyers not to use their boats on the great lakes due to the degrading effects of large swells...take a hint! Limit their use on rivers and inland waters...an engineer talking.
-
fished my friends 27 worldcat many times, gotta say i think the boat handles much better in the slop than in a flat beam sea, not sure about the stress cracks though, ill leave that to the experts
-
Found out that the company will NOT disclose to potential or current owners if a boat has had any major structural damage or service issues, this is "company policy" as the owner of World Cat puts it. Now, for anyone interested in buying a used World cat boat you will never get info from the dealers or the factory if there has been any major repairs or defects.....so BEWARE OF BUYING A USED WORLDCAT BOAT.
-
WOW That boat looks very comfortable and dry in those hectic conditions. Very impressive!!
-
Incredible and impressive video. Sign me up for a Cat.
-
@deepsouthpoints Not sure what trash talk you are referring to, but there are other cat companies that make a much better boat. Would love to look the boat over in the video and measure the stress cracks. Bet there's tunnel cracks as well!!! JMO
-
wow we dont hardley go out in shrimp boats in that kinda weather
-
so smooth
-
If you listen close you can hear the cracking sound of stress cracks forming :D

I would like to see the owner of World Cat, Andrew brown, take one of his diesel model boats out in a rough sea. I bet he wouldn't have the guts to do it because they are a death trap. How about it Andrew let's take a diesel ECS model out. We both know a guy in California that has one........I'll buy the fuel!Stay away from diesel model WC"s. World Cat warranty, in my opinion, is a worthless document that will cost owners even more money. Save money and don't buy the warranty.

I was down at Manasquan Inlet yesterday during the storm and came across one bad-ass sea trial. The waves were breaking over the end of the jetty and these two crazies were seeing if they could catch air in a center console. The boat handled amazingly in the conditions.
