Anything more akin to being away from the shore on a calm, sunny day? I'm having trouble finding something like that. -

what a brilliantly realised idea. I love the sound of the sea. This really takes you away. Thank you.

I listen to this every day over and over again because I'm always studying in the Law Library basement, and I need something to concentrate with. This is wonderful!

This is very nice. Years ago sounds like this were on 60-minute cassettes. I first heard them on WTMD, Towson college radio in Maryland. ( 89.7 I think.....? ) They would play the sailboat sounds in between songs on Sunday evening 'Hearts of Space' music.

play this at the same time as the Black flag shanties

I love sailing and wooden sailing ships. This is amazing relaxation music, I'am sleeping when I listen this. Thanks! :-)

This is great, standing on that ship(an American made replica of the HMS Bounty) on a foggy evening, the sun just below the horizon, the sea becoming darker and darker, untill its night and the ship is quiet, for the first time in days. The sailors are tired from long days of controlling the sails to make some progress in this windless fog. In the end it all proved to be useless, and we chose to just let the sails hang freely under the yard. A seagull landed on the bowsprit, well, a Gannet, I must say. He quickly flew up, and shot to the water like a missile, only to resurface without a fish. I look up and spot a bright red star in the constellation 'Taurus'. "Ha, the bull's eye," I thought. The mist got thicker again, and the only sounds that were left was the cracking of the wood, the water along the ship's hull, and the seagulls in the distance. I decide to lay down on the forecastle. Minutes later, I fall asleep...
