Saucy looking boats. I'll bet they were plenty of fun to skipper.

Heya, This is a nice video here. The most complete woodworking projects that I have ever used was Toms Magic Wood (i found it on google). Without a doubt it contains the most useful woodworking plans that I have ever tried.

England my England.Have seen this many times on the British Council site. A welcome addition to Utube. Thanks for the upload!

What are these "habahz" he speaks of....?

Cool to see this. Five of these 'Fairmile' class boats were built in my hometown during the war. If memory serves, one or two of them were sent to the US Navy, while the remainder saw service in the Royal Canadian Navy as coastal patrol ships and sub-chasers.
-
Nice to see a Fairmile launch again.
-
Misleading title. Barely talks about their construction at all. Mostly a fluff propaganda piece.
-
Very good and informative video, well worth watching and we owe a great deal to these men and many others like them.
-
Does anyone know the boat-building firm?
-
I'm surprised they had electric drills in 1943!
-

-
the opening scenes of a little harbour are in Polperro , cornwall.

poor Germans never stood a chance!
-
Hell no wonder the Brits needed so much help....doing everything by hand...guess the Brits had not invented the power saw by then !!!LOL LOL....
-
The ultimate defeat of Germany started with Britain's bravery and refusal to fight on despite being overwhelmed by the German might. If England had been lost the war may have taken a different turn. Respect from Canada.

Am I still getting heartburn flare-ups? Yes, every time I see one of those Nexium ads on youtube.

Parachuting into the Channel is not on my list of fun things to do!
