what about going towards fuel cell propulsion, like the 'blue box' or LOHC technology?

I am just curios because of course I cannot afford this wonderful boat. But has it sold yet? And if it has how is it holding up? Any major complaints?

hahaha engine in the bow...its tough enough just to protect it in the stern hahha

Make 300 million at the age of 15 and live on this thing for the rest of your life.

Great video, thumbs up. Cheers from sunny Nelsons DockYard Marina, Antigua in the Caribbean.

When the rich buy mansions or yachts, they usually just consider the purchase price. But what about the operating costs? Staffing, maintenance, and repairs can be financial sinkholes, and it’s all too easy not to discover them until you’ve been swallowed up.
A mansion For yachts, the operating costs are about 10% of the purchase price. So a $24 million, 150-foot yacht will cost you about $2.5 million a year to run. -
My question on the larger yachts is always "How much does it draw?" Often I learn that draught so badly limits ports of call, that I really would not want it regardless of how good it is in other ways.

how much does it cost

Funny how they talk about efficiency in terms of a yacht. Am I the only one who noticed this? Seems like an oxymoron.

You're casting them into some pretty rarefied company. Comes down to it, it's just a boat. In fifty years it won't even be a memory.

How Much ?

I Love it gonna Buy it

Hmm.. well I've looked at many yacht videos and I'm really liking everything about this one. One I could actually see myself fully enjoying. Love the design and engines (as well as the engine layout). Awesome

I would love to see this boat perform on wavy waters compared to conventional boat design to see pros and cons in front engine design... (hmmm... I'm very curious)

Very interesting. I think they are certainly going to make their mark on the world. I, personally, don't find them attractive looking but that's a personal thing. I simply prefer traditional lines.
I love the aluminium construction, I love the diesel electric power & the Azipods, I love that they are using the bow for an engine room & opening up a prime area of the boat for guest space.
There is a huge amount of innovative thinking going on here & they are in an area with the skill base to make that innovative thinking come to life. My personal preference for traditional lines in no way blinds me to the fact that they are raising the bar in the super yacht market & they are going to influence the thinking in that entire industry. -
I like this with missile proof body,Supersonic Engine with Retractable Water Ski for accessing 3 digit knot speed with sailing jet engine.-It is my idea! I need to add AKOYA..

Saying that they aspire to the greats mentioned or that they draw inspiration from the greats mentioned would have been tolerable. Saying that they are the same as those people though, well that's just stupid. That kind of arrogance and self importance is not inspiring, it's self centered and short sighted.

The WIDER 150' super yacht was no more than a set of drawings and a vision just over a year ago when I interviewed Tilli Antonelli. Now the first unit has been sold, and a second unit is being built in a state of the art shipyard in Ancona, Italy. This mini documentary introduces you to the founder of WIDER, the beautiful area of Italy where the 150' is being built, and shows unique footage of the work being carried out and the finished product.
