Now that it has been over two years how is your Hunter? I have been looking at a Hunter and would appreciate any of your comments on how it is holding up. Have you had any problems? Things breaking, doors, drawers? Leaks? Anything? Thanks.

You know that Hunter used to have a terrible reputation for a production sailboat. We used to go up to every Hunter model that was in jackstands and press on the hull, and it would 'oil-can' every time. Now they may have started to increase the overall quality of their product line. I hope they did. They certainly introduced a lot of beginners to the art of sailing.

I must say, that is a beautiful boat sir.

A very well done video and a nice boat.  For a production boat built to price Hunter gives a boater a lot of boat for the money!  Had a 2004 boat used it for 7 seasons and found the 33 a comfortable couples cruiser.  Bought new for 104K sold it 7 years later for 89K after two months on the market.

I have a 1999 Hunter 380 and am pleased with it. I have sprung for new sails as the others were blown out. Am trying short vertical battens on the mainsail as well. We shall see how that works out. M Courtois, I hope Hunter/Marlow paid you a little for this as it is better than their own videos! I am also surprised and pleased that they took your requests for mods seriously. I did not realize they would allow that, being a standard type of production builder. Good on you!
