What to choose: Skateboard, Longboard or Cruiser

so skateboard is made for tricks, longboard is faster than skateboard and cant do much tricks, lastly pennyboard is made for cruising around the city, am i right???

Those plastic skateboard litterly have no grip at all plus there really small.

I've never really skated before,but I'd like to get some type of board to maneuver quickly around my college campus, which has some hills and along with smooth parking lots. I'm. It interested in doing tricks, I just want to glide around quickly, and easily. Does anyone have any recommendations?

get a real skateboard and learn tricks. Don't buy a longboard or penny board because there gay and for posers.

Cruiser's are great for college campuses and dodging shit in the city. They're portable and work fine for mediumish distances but I wouldn't ride one for several hours. They perform alright on hills but don't try to bomb anything crazy. Stay away from penny boards, they tend to be small and unstable at high speeds. If you get a cruiser get a wood one.

I have a regular skateboard with penny wheels , riser pads and new bearings. It works good because it has the comfortably of a skateboard with the maneuverability of a pennyboard
