Our Wharram Tiki38 is built light, she's ply/epoxy with Wharram's amazing 'soft' wingsail rig. The boat sails fast to windward up to 45-50degrees apparent. Her sharp V shaped hulls mean she doesn't make unacceptable leeway when pointing. She'll sail to 40degrees but slows to 6knots. Off the wind, in 10knots+, we go everywhere at 7-10knots. She only has a waterline of 32' but she has 4 separate cabins and truly enormous deck space. She's a fast passage maker, she's very easy to maintain and she's comfortable. The Tiki38 is very liveable and, like all Wharrams, it's a very safe boat. Compared to production cats, a well-built Wharram cat is, by far, the best value for money, and by a huge margin.
