Looks like you've increased the beam. Is this true or just my imagination? I have a set of Hinemoa plans, but I keep thinking I should build a Tiki 26 instead...

Named after an Egytian goddess sometime before it was used in its present meaning

why the name?

I must be missing the bay islands, when I am watching you sailing Isis at 7AM. Cheers Darren.

Hi Mashi
My furler is a profurl c260 6.5m from Whitworths. I highly recommend it. I have a 30mm alum tube across the bows to attach it to.The soft wing sail main is a wharram idea designed for the Tikis and works wonderfully on the Hinemoa, the loose foot means no boom to slip under when tacking, & the short gaff gives power up top +windward abilities. Sail plan can be purchased from wharram. Such a joy to sail, it is with reluctance I am putting her up for sale as I'm building a bigger cat........ -
hi I have just purchased a Hinemoa in Western Australia it has no furling jib at the moment and I am interested to find out what size yours is and how well it works , much to do to get here ready for ocean sailing but being able t handle the jib without having to scramble forward all the time would be groovy , nice job by the way she looks like a nice rig

Tks so much, dear Darren for your lyrics I'd like to summarize "On the transcendental Sailing Highway..." Wise, wise words and true sailing wisdom... I started sailing in the 70th.... since 10 yars I am out of the water (because of different circumstances privatly and by job)... your vid is a real inspiration touching my sailor's heart and mind... and giving me the energy to find back on high seas soon.... many, many tks. Keep safe sailing and smiling... have fun !
