No work required on vessel? Hmm writer observably has never owned a boat. Especially a wood boat.

I'm pretty sure I fucked a skank on that boat back in the 70s in Victoria before halibut started. Lots of history!

Nice job.
The 'Honker" is a 42' converted fishing boat that is meticulously maintained by the current owner who has used it to cruise the central and north coast since 1999. She was built in the early 1950's and underwent a conversion and upgrade in 1989-1990. In 1986 she was repowered with the 6 cyl. Mitsubishi engine. This vessel is very stable and seaworthy. It has steel horizontal stabilizers below the waterline and pole stabilizers which can be lowered in rough seas. The boat has a 150 hp Mitsubishi and a 3:1 Capital gear all in top mechanical condition. Fuel consumption is 6 litres an hour @ 1500rpm. The "Honker" has three helms and is well equipped with communication and navigational gear. Her galley has a three burner propane stove and oven and there is a fridge and separate freezer. For accomodations she has a large V berth in the bow and a double and a single in the aft cabin. The current owners feel it is time for new owners to explore the BC coast. There is no work required on this vessel!
