not sure if you know but that shark you caught is called a rig and is commonly served in fish and chips shops. here pretty good eating once you get the skin off. nice vid :)

A stunning Wellington morning chasing my favourite eating fish on light soft plastic tackle. Fed a few families with beautiful fresh fillets. The mornings catch comprised Gurnard, Blue Cod, Kahawai, Barracouta, Sea Witch (Sole), Tarakihi, Spiny Dog Fish and Spotty Sharks. Catching a shark by hand was a bit of a laugh... will try a 7 footer next time?...
