Well since you deleted my last comment I guess you don't want to have a conversation with me. As for the Scioto I know a good bit about it from Columbus to Portsmouth;-) I'm not a bass fisherman though. I do know where the bass hole is between Circleville and Chilli. Hundreds of them flipping daily. So did you launch at a private ramp or public to reach this particular stretch of water?

You seem to know quite a bit. My question for you is where can you launch around the town of Richmond Dale on the Scioto? Also check out the video called "Let's go for a ride". That's not the original length. It was shortened way down.

Well lets see, north of there, I think there is a private ramp off 104 just south of 270. South of there, there is a private ramp just south of 665 but I think the guy charges a small fee for docking. Then the only other public ramp is in Circleville which is a long way from there jet boat or not. So basically I was just wondering if you used a private or public ramp. I'm sure you didn't go all the up there from the public ramp.

For those who know that's the point. It's very very far from any ramp. This is just a short clip the running around we did that day.

Make sure it's a Weld-Craft. I'll be putting out a video soon showing everyone why the it's the best Aluminum boat on Planet Earth.

Rivers Rule! Jet jon in my future

Man of my own heart, Joe. Jet Jon in my future.

It always looks much easier on video than it actually is. You have to pay much closer attention to the water ahead of you. Water levels and debris changes daily, so you never know what's going to pop up in your way.

No propeller on this boat. The Mercury 4 stroke 40 HP jet motor uses a jet propulsion system like a jet ski. It skims the boat across the top of the water. It handles amazing. Run it just like a prop motor. It looks like a prop motor except there's a water propulsion lower unit. Just had the boat on Pleasant Hill Lake near Loudonville, Ohio today battling wake from jet skis and speed boats. It handles very well. It's an amazing river boat and a lake boat at the same time.

looks like a sweet boat! alot better than my 15 horse 14 foot

Felt like I was there brother! Great vid Joe...

how low does the prop sit in the water and how fast can this boat go? can you still take it out on big lakes or is it more of a river boat?
-
I was so so afraid the camera person would get knocked into the water. There are so many logs and boulders and rocks and we were moving along at about 25-28 mph. If we hit anything the camera person would fly into the river.

Ohio is full of highly pressured lakes but, we have miles of unfished Rivers. The Scioto, Muskingum and Great Miami are examples. The Scioto River runs for nearly 150 miles from Columbus until it flows into the Ohio River in Portsmouth, OH. There are miles of unfished stretches of water and fish that haven't seen a hook in their lives. A high quality jet boat is the only way to reach them. Weld-Craft makes the best tunnel hull jet bass boats on the planet.
