the main reason the plastic is there is because you can unzip it and roll it. With other materials it is rigid and difficult to do. Also the plastic used in applications like that is much more expensive than you would think. Also it only gets bow and stern thrusters unless you have the pod drive option.

Carpet in our salon is not an issue at all - even when our kids/granddaughter are onboard ;-) Lifestyle and flow is gonna be different on a larger sedan style boat and as long as one isn't silly, the carpet is perfectly OK. Plus, it's so nice to walk on.
I agree that the canvas top is a bit chincy, with a hard top being the preferred way to go. Just add a few hundred thou' to that next model. Remember that Meridian is the poorer brother to Sea Ray and this one was most likely built in the same Palm Coast Florida plant that our 400 Sedan Bridge was built (look on my Channel for a video titled 'Sea Ray Factory Tour - Palm Coast Florida' - for some reason YouTube isn't allowing me to include the link here ). That said, even the much larger sedans have isinglass panels. The other option would be a fully enclosed bridge, but then one would be boating 'indoors' and for me, that's simply not real boating.
Good video. Looking forward to the next one(s) :-)
Cheers, Paul.

In this episode we tour a Meridian 391 Sedan. It's big. It's bold. It's probably not for us. If you enjoyed this video - please like or share. Subscribe to see more content!
