Great video! You may have done this but I didn't see it on the vid: very important to put something like Tef-Gel or Lanocoat on every stainless screw or bolt that goes into aluminum. It will prevent the galling/corrosion that will happen due to dissimilar metals. Later on it will be very difficult to remove.

I was a died in the wool mono man until I started watching out chasing stars, then one day the wife was watching with me and commented on the room and stability of a multi and then the crew from La Vagabond are changing over to multi but the bomb was Finding Lennie and Randy from sailing Happy Together.. Please watch an episode or two and maybe Mike and Lauren may be interested .. They are down in the Bahamas on their 48 Leopard just kickin back but funny as all get out..Anyway hope to see you out there soon .. Cheers

I become more and more impressed with your boat DIY. I am the type of person who refuses to pay anymore to do something I can. Y'all give me home to be able to do this myself one day.
Video quality improves with every video! -
Check the furler mounting screws often ! If they start coming loose, remove them, ad a drop of blue thread locker and reinstall. Rivnuts would be better/stronger than just drilled and tapped holes.

We too are thinking of moving to a cat.
