Great painting, but frustrating that you didn't show the drawing up close so I could actually see how to start it...

Hi Patrick, I finally am ready to invest in a mop. If I get an Isabey 6234, what size do you think is good for my first investment? I only paint small, never larger than Arches quarter sheets. Would a size 7 do, or should I go larger? Currently I use a soft size 14 round brush by Rosemary but I prefer to get a mop.

wonderful instruction. Thank you. sharon

Patrick, what brand palette is that? And are you using permanent magenta, or cobalt violet? Can't wait for class to start on the 19th.

Thank you so much for posting that. I have been taking part in watercolour classes for the last 3 months or so - having not picked up a paint brush for the last 30 years. Your video and easy way of communicating is inspiring and your painting beautiful.

Thank you so much! It's my first time to use water color. I did it well because of your teaching. But the color in my painting is too pure and bright, could you explain how to make the color more grey but not dirty?
