Those launches don't have thrusters

Admiral Joe Fowler was an early Imagineer that helped design and build Disneyland. His exploits are long and his contributions numerous.

Fat guy in a little boat ! Hahahahaha awesome dude ! might want to clarify that the little boats aka Sea Raycers are $35 per half hour

Thank you so much for posting this. I'm planning on another Disney trip next year and was considering the Cabins at Fort Wilderness. It's nice to know the water taxi is so accessible

i love this so much

Great video. I piloted all 3 of the boats in this video until I left in May of 15. Richard F Irvine was my favorite ferry and all newbie pilots experience a bad docking like that guy did.

Just a little too much Bacardi rum !! Parking that boat

Looked like it was going to be an interesting video....until.....he spoke like a five year old. What a complete prize plonker. Watched the first sixty seconds then stooped it. Don't waist your time, he thinks we all like talking "stupid talk" .

"I didn't plan on making a whole episode about this guy...but I will." That was classic Matt! Hit me up if you want to roam the parks or vlog some Central Florida randomness together. I'm up in Sanford. Adventure on good sir!

Poor old Jim... we still give him crap for this video

Hi Matt! Our Watercraft fb group had this posted today, and it did bring back memories for me! In fact, I'll probably have my usual ferryboat nightmares (people walking around the outside of the boat, people on the wrong side of the ropes, etc.) tonight. I was a Crafty back in '88 through '92. Although I still live in the area, I haven't been on the boats in about a decade, so seeing your video was great. The docks have really changed over the years (as have the costumes). Thanks for the memories!

Worked there from 2010 till 2011. Loved driving the boats and the guests. The little rentals we called speed bumps....they were always in the way.

Thanks for posting your video. I used to drive the ferry boats when I was in the Disney college program in the late 90s. This brought back a lot of good memories. On occasion I would crew the smaller boats, but I spent the majority of my time on the big boats. The Potter was my favorite of the three ferry boats. Her props were a bit smaller than the Irvine or the Fowler, so it took a bit longer to stop. But the Potter has very small keel, so she would track in the wind better.

Thanks Matt great video! I am glad the woo directed me to this channel some good stuff going on here!
