I have never seen a wake boat with the bow down what a lot of bull shit
-
I just got a brand new V drive for 60K. Obviously most of you can't afford a top of the line wakeboarding boat, so don't get a top of the line one. There are plenty of V drive boats for sale that are used and cheap

2 words.... Sponsored video

lol i ride behind an out board
-
what if we can't afford a v drive
-
This was a terrible video.
-
V Drive more Powerfull ? Depending on the engine you put in.
-
Direct drives aren't just v drives. Also not all inboards are expensive it's the companies that build them make them overpriced and the average person can't afford one. Also people you can buy a used wake boat a few years old for literally half price and still looks new.

Awesome, im selling my stern drive boat and buying a $ 130,000 vdrive boat. i can afford 2,500 a month payments. I will experience the difference it makes for a month or two till they repo the boat. V-drive boats are a waste of month do to the high mark up for the cheap items installed. my friend has a 90,000 super nat. and i work more on that do to cheap plastic sh#$ breaking then any other boat. make them pretty for the customer and screw them on parts that break they dont see.

gimme a break. why not use a cheap POS stern drive for your gay bash on stern drives!! and maybe you should check your video from the side when your inboard aims for the sky! check out at 1:16 in. sure your driver can see in that line of sight. and hey guess what. there putting seat bolster in all new v drives now so YOU can see over YOUR bow! oh wait... adjustable out drive and trim tabs... what are those??? and I'm sure I can fall into my props three feet back and four feet down from the swim platform to....and far as wakeboard wake?? you really need to get out a little
-
Stern drive boats also depreciate to almost nothing where direct drives stop depreciating at 5-10k
I have a stern drive, full outboard and direct drive. The direct drive is a better boat as far as cost of ownership and repair. Outboard is convenient and quick. Stern drive is just stuck between. Not useful. -
If the only thing you are going to use your boat for is wakeboarding, and in water where your draft isn't an issue, sure a V drive is great. They pretty well suck at everything else when compared to a sterndrive. Like.... controlling the boat in reverse, top speed, fuel economy, being able to survive hitting a stump or beaching.
-
Most annoying, obtrusive, and destructive boats on the water. Hands down...
-
Was a bit of an unfair planing test with the out drive trimmed right up....!
-
That moment a professional hydroslider with wake boarding sons sells his brand new centurion v drive for an old big block formula because he says it has such a larger, smoother, and cleaner wake...

What about the new Bryant 233surf edition with the volvo reverse prop? can it hold its own with the v drives for wakeboarding and surfing?

Ha, "The boat plains out faster" it doesn't plain out at all, it's plowing water the whole time, that's why it's got such a huge fucking wake.
-
Bayliner had the drive trimmed up while trying to plane! False advertising boating mag!
-
Because apparently every stern drive is a 16 foot v6 Bayliner. Lol. My stern drive puts out just as good if a wake as a 100k v drive for 10k
