Say, great video. I just began a 1954 Wolverine runabout, and boy do I have questions. I'm not the most computer savey individual. Any chance we could exchange email addresses so I could ask specific questions? Thanks! Carlton

Mr. ezriver80. I have an old boat the I was told was a "Wolverine" made by YellowJacket Boats in TX. but Marty, "Mr. YellowJacket" , told me that YJ did not make a "Wolverine" model. Being a U/M grad I would love it if my boat was made in GR.
If I sent some pics would you give me your opinion? Thanks, Jake Jake.Frankhouser@gmail.com -
Why no update? Did it sink? :/

I am just starting a rehab on a '57 Wagemaker. Your project is an inspiration!
When I'm done it will live on Lake Tahoe. I have dozens of questions, of course. But mostly looking for a resource for your logos and emblems. (I'll ask about windshield sources another time) -
ezrider this is great. just starting the restoration of grandpa's wolverine. it's a but older and smaller than your gorgeous boat. any more details. parts and color lists?? any breakdown of what you sanded it with or down to? like to maybe call ya or email you and just get a bit more detail and advice. let me know!

Point taken. I did purchase the music on Amazon and have purchased his CD's when attending a couple of small concerts in the northern neck.
Regarding your restoration, there is a good group in the both the northern neck Reedville area and Smith Mountain Lake. SML has great workshops at members homes. There should be one coming up towards the end of October. -
? no, just a boat enthusiast documenting my restoration. look like past comments were removed?

Did you pay Robbin Thompson a royalty for using his music on your video ?

Harder than mine!

100% Cool.

The original deck was 1/4" ply. This is 1/4" teak & holly. Both sides and all edges have 4 coats of CPES prior to the varnish to eliminate/ reduce moisture wicking. Tape both sides to reduce splintering and cut larger then finish sand to fit. Thanks.

Wow! Very nice. I have a 54. The front teak deck looks like tongue and groove thicker than 1/4 inch? I didn't see any caulking of the teak deck; is it a plywood product? Thanks!

I found that these folks had good prices for the wire BestBoatWire.com
I shopped for the other components; i.e. Jamestown Dist. , IBoats, Wholesale Marine, etc. -
I'm impressed. Where did you get your electrical wiring?

Really, really nice job. I have a 13' MacBay Thunderbolt which is very similar being made with a U.S. Molded Shapes hull. I should leverage your efforts as inspiration to finish mine!
