Can we just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful the shockwave travelling through the air looks?

So these people are roughly 3 miles away. When Krakatoa erupted, people up to 100 miles away suffered permanent hearing loss because the sound was recorded at 175 dB (that's louder than a .357 revolver going off next to your ear). Just watching this video and then trying to imagine how much more energy that had is hard to wrap my head around. Damn nature, you scary.
