A cruiser and a dirt bike and your ready for anything :)
-
Yeah, I've looked at some adventure bikes...they all look awesome, don't they?! My bike is a sport-tourer & now that I have my bags, I can put all kinds of stuff in 'em. I till like looking at some of those adv bikes, though...like the v-strom, the gs, the expedition...ah...need more money!

I agree with NT8 ! He got me hooked !

Dual Sport bro!! You wont go wrong with one! Goes anywhere! Within Reason! But don't expect a short seat height.
-
Yeah, my mind wonders all around other bikes too. Then I buy a new bike and it stops....for a month or 2...then starts again!
Def. not selling my HD anytime soon, but thinking of picking up a dual sport soon, those KLR's look like a blast. -
Buell is back. They're making the EBR 1190rx. Its almost, kind of, a little affordable too.
-
either one would be a good choice. You need to test ride each and see which best fits you as you can get removable bags hard or soft for either style.
If my old back could handle a sport tourer I'd get one but then I already have a Softail I could put bags on if I wanted to
If your Dad wants to get rid of his 600 RR you could buy it & put bags/side cases tank bags etc on it? Maybe save enough to get a cruiser also later on? -
i just say.. try them all. and then decide/

Talk about coincidence. CagerOnTwoWheels has a great vlog that relates to this vlog.
Why I love multi-purpose vehicles! -
I assume you're going to Moroney's Open House tomorrow (Sat, May 17th). That's another great place to get answers, no? You can meet with other riders and get their actual experiences on the bikes they bring in. Though it wasn't clear from you vlog nor your description what exactly you're looking to accomplish nor if you're looking t buy new, used or either.
As for carrying stuff on sportbikes, you can definitely do it. Nelson-Rigg and CorTech have soft saddlebags and tail bags for mounting on sportbikes. Kriega also has a premium system you can use to mount a bag to a sportbike. One guy on YouTube figured out how to mount his Emgo topcase to his sportbike (Review of EMGO travel trunk). -
viking bags its what I purchased

we just subb....we are saying the same thing which could our next bike.

Last ride while bike was stock motor combo , thinking about choosing my next bike for 2 up comfort.. Never an easy choice as I am seeing first hand ..
I am actually getting a Ducati Multistrada pretty soon.....even though it´s more asphaltic than any of the competition....100% versatile
Take are and ride safe man
