If you put the razor blade on an angle on the jig for the split tubing do you think it would make a spiral cable pattern or something?

I subscribed some hours ago to your channel. And only now I saw this cutter. Amazingly simple but effective. For sure I´ll make one in the near future and try to use it for dismantling electric cables.
-
It would be unreal to be this guys apprentice.
-
I already miss these videos. :'(
-
Would this work on PVC tubing? :)
-
Man, that is handy.
-
For splitting the tubing couldn't you just put two razor blades in at the same time to cut both sides instead of one at a time?

This gizmo can also be adapted for use with rubber hose, or any other soft tubing material that has a tendency to squish while being cut. Template: http://postimg.org/image/7m8jlon6b/ If you would like to see another option for cutting soft tubing quickly, please watch "Tools and Tips #2 from Applied Science." Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbo8xi1zgVo Note: The release of my video shorty following this one was just a coincidence. I wonder how many of those dislikes are from irrational fear of the occult. Can we talk about the tubing cutter, and not the illuminati? Just this once? lol.
