Pretty bike, I bet awesome on the street, but I think I'm glad of my choice of vstrom for on/offroad mix.

@dakaraabbccdd Offroad the Klr is a nice machine, but when you get back on the road, you'll miss the Versys 68 hp... The Versys is a very good all rounder though! just took mine offroading for the first time today, and as a MX'er i was very impressed with the offroad capabilities of the Versys-knobbys and a skid plate and your good to go!

great

That is some Offroad riding. Looks like fun and pretty remote.

How did you manage with the low exhaust through the water? Did it stop the engine or did you have any problems?
-
Thank you for those who comments versys is the best for adventure and also for offroad . I ride the versys from Malaysia to the north of Thailand and Laos (7000km)

instead of versys, how about KLR650? i believe it suits better for trailing like this..
-
same here. i am thinkin of a klr or versys

i hope kawasaki is paying attention. It seems This bike can be an excellent adventure bike with proper tires and engine protection. Maybe a 19" wheel up front and a high mount exhaust system and youve got a cheaper lighter BMW F800.

in fact it "does" but too short range of suspension :(
-
hahah that shit of custom tyres ! its a cool bike but . too short of suspension .. make top so much :(
-
I used standard tires for this trip Dunlop D221. Thanks.

Maaaybe you should have gone for the V-Strom, eh? ;-) Which tires you got? People seem to be rather happy with Avon Distanzias.
