I was born in Esperanza in 1940 - the first white baby at the Mission Hospital. Hope to re-visit again in summer 2017.

Wow clean water. Very nice.

Learn how to pronounce Juan de Fuca correctly before you try to say that you are an expert for the region. Also it's Bamfield not Banford. Are you stupid or drunk. I would think that someone who speaks so highly as an expert would possibly know that. I gave up after that. Learn the locations you are visiting before you try to submit a video where you don't know anything about the area and you can't even pronounce the name of the areas correctly.

Beautiful. I live on Vancouver Island, and have seen some of these more common places like Ucluelet, but it's so amazing to get to see footage of the more remote areas! Thank you......

I really enjoyed the video. I grew up in Port McNeill. My family has a cabin on Yuki Bay in Neepa Lagoon.

This video is about a journey made in the summer of 2014 up the rugged West Coast of Vancouver Island. Highlights are a loggers competition in Ucluelet, a black bear sighting, a cruise up the Marble River and a close encounter with the Roaring Hole Rapids in the Broughton Islands on the mainland
