On the way home from a dance competition in Boston, the Clan stopped by Baltimore and took a look at the Historic Ships Museum. Their collection included the USCGC Taney, a Coast Guard Cutter built in 1935. She is the last ship still floating that fought in the attack on Pearl Harbor. Taney received three battle stars for service in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. She was the command ship at the battle of Okinawa and also participated in the search for Amelia Earhart.
