How are these boats transported ? Are they carried over by larger boats such as cruisers? Can these small boats make transoceanic voyages on their own? Where does the crew sleep? Do they go back to a bigger boat for R&R?

What is the intent of these inter water ways and coastal patrol boats? Are they strictly foreign use or/and domestic use?

Larger ships of course, have sophisticated weaponry to deal with incoming missiles, essentially putting up a wall of lead (steel?). It would seem a determined, suicidal enemy in a rowboat could put a simple RPG in the air while the US crew was making a friend/foe decision. Anyone?
