Hi Thank you so much for your review and honest option. I'm very very new to all this. For Christmas i received a C rafter's Companion. I have yet to buy a die and embossing machine there are so many out there i have no idea which one to invest in..Maybe you can steer me in the right direction. I have an Accquilt fabric cutter and i was also told i could use that but i would have to buy all the cutting mates so on and so forth which could get very expensive.I would be very grateful for any Help, advice, information and or option:s you may give me. Thank you God Bless

Excellent review; I definitely won't be buying. I am looking for an A4 machine - have you reviewed your Big Shot Plus?

I love my cut boss. All die cutters A plates look like this when you use them. The instructions are just like any machine. When I got mine I put all my dies through it, recorded the sandwich dies and taped them in the book. I never had any problems. My vagabond jammed all the time and my cuttlebug is good but I don't like the turning.

thanks for the update. I will think twice about this machine. Maybe the big shot express might be better, since it will take all thickness of dies. I just returned the Gemini that I got on HSN. All embossing folders made on that machine you had to peel out and they were badly curled.

Thanks for your review, very honest, and informative.

I don't have a machine & I can't afford an expensive one so I was looking at one of these for my birthday 8/1 ....but I'd rather wait to get 1 really nice one I can use for everything :)

Thanks for your review! I recently picked up one at JoAnn's and thought it was a great deal. I'm not for buying an item when they first hit the market anyway...I couldn't see myself paying the big bucks. Thanks again~Lena

Big thanks for your review! Glad that I found this video - sorry that it wasn't what we hoped it would be, after finding that great deal.

Thank You so much, Poet. You are helping lots of people think a bit more wisely about this. I think many newbie crafters who do not know exactly what is what out there in the land of all the happy crafting designers, count on those of you that we think of as "Crafters In The Know". We come away from certain videos thinking that if we don't find something we saw someone with, we are never going to be great crafters. (LOL) There are FAR too many craft items out there to waste time and money on things that may not measure up. Speaking for the old people, we don't have the time or money to waste. (LOL) Thank you so much.

Thx for the updated review and the info. How did it work on the original dies that came with the cut n boss? did they cut better w the new sandwich?

I'm thankful I didn't get it. Glad some one helped you to be able to use it some. Linda

It was the very first die cutting machine I bought with first starting out. I just couldn't stand it. Made my hands hurt worse trying to get it through, and to cut nice etc... I was blessed to have won the big shot. So I sold this pooh-pooh thing. I wouldn't buy any other die machine but the big shot. Huge difference between the two to me... Thx for sharing.

Thank you for sharing this information.
I am not liking the reviews but I guess I will keep the machine since it was only $59.00 dollars.
I will try the sandwich and see what happens. I will probably only use this machine for simple die cutting.

Thank you to a viewer missbukii for the sandwich combination! Has the rating changed? Is this product all the hype? Is it a work horse machine?
