Germans know how to sneak around and they also know how to build lethal submarines. Just because this type isn't nuclear nor a boomer I have no doubt it would be a sneaky lethal submarine even when opposed to a US, Russian, British or French opponent. Oh don't count the Japanese out - Japan has way more subs than China.

How's this going to stop "Peace trucks" in Germany?

Prodigious! Magnificent! They are strong these Germans! Besides they master a strong and reliable technology in almost all the domains. All the best!

U-32 (S182) is the second Type 212A submarine of the German Navy. U-32 is powered by one diesel engine and an electric motor driven by two fuel cells and features a cavitation-free screw, making it virtually undetectable. U-32 was the first non-nuclear submarine to stay submerged for two weeks. U 32 (NATO-Bezeichnung: S 182) ist das zweite U-Boot der U-Boot-Klasse 212 A, das der Bundeswehr überstellt wurde.
