That guy in the boat did the right thing, although the Jewish powers that be wanted (made mandatory) everyone to stay put, I guess so they could loose everything they had and be subservient to the rip-off artist insurance companies that surely would've screwed them all over.

I'm sorry but that music was so relaxing

Though I sympathize with someone losing their boat especially if its used as your livelihood, people all along the west coast had several hours to move their boats out to sea, even an 8ft tsunami surge can be quite strong as is evident by the many harbors along the west coast afterwards, however you can't equate this to the thousands who lost their lives, property and emotional scars in Japan, not including this disaster will be long lasting, the coastline height will be changed, land innundated with sea salt, the chemicals and other pollutants that will have seeped into the soil especially in agricultural areas, also those livelihoods that depend on the sea.

The music sucks. Thumbs down.

by no means am I trying to down play the severity of how this tsunami hit crescent city. but this was NOTHING CLOSE to how japan was hit. crescent city was hit with I think 5 foot tsunami japan was hit with a 35 foot wall of water

That's the only way to save your boat. Go out to 100 fathoms. In the shallow water, forget it. That is almost as bad as it hit in Japan. Alot of fishermen lost everything I'm sure. G-d bless all of you and your families.

Hi, goldfish is a cool description - could it be. But I think, it's the sun shining onto the boots (or something) of the heli-crew, mirroring in the "windows" of the heli. A close moment before you can see a white triangle rushing from right to the left. Hope, I'm right...

I took a video of the boat docks 10/2/2010. Glad I did.

Thats cause Bubba wanted to be a shrimpin boat captain!

Three options. Take it out of the water to higher ground, leave it in the harbor to be wrecked or try and beat the tsunami and take it out to sea. He took it out to sea. Awesome >:)
