First of all thank you very much for the first place! Really appreciated. In order to avoid confusion about the certification, our aircraft, the Tucano-R, with retractable landing gear is registered as an experimental aircraft worldwide. However we have developed an aircraft for the LSA category, which is our Tucano SLSA with fixed landing gear, and registered in USA. I hope this clarify a bit the doubts about the certification. Once again, thank you for the video!

what is the last song called ? I HAVE to know! Thanks!

Blackshape ?

risen ultralight 323 kph, world record

Although it is not an LSA, honorable mention... Falcomposite Furio RG. Very cool little a/c cruise 175 kt
-
Swedish blackwing

My Aerospool Dynamic WT9 is faster than any of this at 150kt

Several of the planes shown in this video had "N numbers," meaning they're USA-registered aircraft. And several of the planes shown do not meet the USA definition of "Light Sport Aircraft" because they exceed the legal speed limitation for that category, have features like variable-pitch props and retractable landing gear (undercarriage) that are prohibited on American LSAs, etc. If you're going to post a video about Light Sport Aircraft you should post about planes that are all in the same category, and specify which category that is.

And yes the Bristell offers Fuel injected Rotax 912iS engine as well as the 914 Turbo. Most of the other planes you mentioned are a bit too heavy to accommodate the additional weight of the engines mentioned.

You missed the Bristell! 120 kts. Faster, lighter, widest in class and stronger than some of the competitors you mentioned. Visit us at Bristellaircraft, com

You missed the fastest one, Risen Aircraft can cruise at 178 kts, https://youtu.be/V5qfgJL6kzU and https://youtu.be/k-LJn50G6eU

never heard about asso x jewel??

That last one doesn't qualify by FAA standards.

The Shark UL holds the European Ultralight World Speed Record and is faster than any of the airplanes depicted here. Check it out at www.sharkaero.com

Before you start. Yes, the Riesen seems to be pretty fast too, never had a chance to fly one. Yes, many manufacturers are trying to beat the SHARK by trading safety for speed. Making small stabilisers with flat, narrow profile will help to gain speed, BUT at what cost? How would the stabilisers perform in wake turbulance? At high AOA? And I mean also the AOA of the stabilisers too. At slow speed? Are small narrow stabilisers faster? Yes. Safer. NO. I prefer not to trade safety for speed.

So fast? Really??? Look at the SHARK !!! Fast cruise with 75% engine power setting at 5000 rpm is 146 kt. I normally fly XC at 155 kt, there really is no point to fly slowly. My max. measured level speed is over 160 kt., All of this with a standard Rotax 912 UL. And this is no bullshit, I can proove it. You can have the SHARK also with the fantastic Edge Performance (TM) engine mods. The officially tested VNE is 185 kt and with the modified engine, it flies over the VNE in horizontal flight rather often. :) I herewith challeng anybody who may claim to be anywhere near this speeds with a 100 HP 912 Rotax TO FLY A HEAD TO HEAD RACE AGAINST THE SHARK.
