As an ex USN destroyer man shellback, AND a former Northern Pacific commercial fisherman I can seriously say that these were absolutely pitiful examples of supposedly "monster waves of the sea". Only one even showed a quartering sea. Cross the big blue in the trough strapped into your rack to sleep for a couple of weeks then get back to me.
