I love my Yachts album. I play it from time to time. I am not sure why I do. I am getting old now. Maybe it's my age. OR MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE THEY FUCKING ROCK!

I never realized that our 1968 Look Back in Love recording had been covered by an English band. It is a very interesting take on the tune and I've copied this YouTube post to our stark-naked blog at with several related videos. I wish that someone would re-release their albums on CD; they were a fantastic pop band who still sound great today. I'm sure there's a whole new audience out their just waiting to discover them!

Blimey, I still have a battered copy of Suffice to Say ... and never realised there was a follow-up. Like 1965-in-1977 never really went away.

Thanks mate! Every now & then it's nice to do something a bit different from me usual history/politics stuff & I'm watching all the old 'Just Good Friends' now(& i've always had a thing for Penny!)so this seemed ideal.Ha amazing this great tune was'nt on the tube before! As a 14 year old member of the Blank Generation's Bedroom Division,I remember Peely gushing over this tune & thinking the great man had lost it-he hadn't,but it was 2001 before i realised it! This was The Yachts second 45,following on from 'Suffice To Say',& for me thier finest-&,being slightly drunk on Hobgoblin & hence a trifle nostalgic,it brought good old Vince Pinner & the utterly gorgeous Penny Warrender to mind-hard-headed shallow b-stards BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
