Been using those woods long before they did, it's nothing new... Been using epoxies and composites for over 40 years, first project in 1973, I was 14 at the time... Nice to see them using them today in modern yacht building... Just hope there not using illegal aliens for employee's, if they are I'll fix that next year... Thank god for a new sheriff in town, Donald Trump...

Lovely, lovely boat. As he says, not a dock dolly but designed to go places.

Looks like a norhavn copy. But with some updates. I would change the look instead of using whats already out there.

Okay thanks

usually a anywhere from 750 to 2000 miles. but a full tank also costs a few thousand dollars...
-
What is the gas/diesel mileage, how far can it go on a tank?

Adding this to my 2020 Christmas Wish list!

Just starting my career... Hope to be able to afford one of these some day. Good looking boat. Northwest Pride.

Boats are an emotive buy and for me this ones proportions look wrong. To my eyes it needs 10 to 15ft in the transom, with NO superstructure to balance out the lines, giving it a more 'trawler/workboat' look. At the moment it looks too toy like. Loving the concept of these recreational trawlers though, Beneteau also doing a nice line .

Should be a link to the homepage :-) Great looking trawler.

It this a typical American yacht, i.e., built overseas?

The boat shown in the video is our 2007 model. The 2012 is a Northwest 48 and has a stand up engine room. Visit our website at nwyachts.com for more information.

dose this boat have a walk in engine room

I like this boat. It makes a lot of sense to have a really tall bow that can take a head-sea head-on - but is there a lot of windage when docking in the marina? ...and what affect does it have on tenderness and the centre of gravity? I like the Kevlar underwater bow reinforcement (although I do wonder about the brittleness of Kevlar). The turning circle for a single engined boat is impressive - but what's it like without the bow-thruster?. By and large tho I like it and have started saving up!

Excellent family boat. Excellent layout, lots of light, everything is done very cleverly.

So why do you say the music is loud. There is no music.....only the story of Northwest Trawlers. Enjoy your Grand Banks..........
