I actually found it quite rude the way the guy corrected him about cotton vs wool. It is silly when you know the difference but would that guy know the difference between a GPU and a CPU? Because there's a world of difference.
How about the difference between steel and iron? Or more appropriately for Guy, the difference between a transmission and a gearbox? -
I love Howard, he #told Guy about fabric :')

A big thank you from germany for uploading this series onto the tube! Didn't know Guy up until now but this just popped up into my feed and its brilliant. Even though i believe we invented some cool stuff as well. :D

A Good Night's Sleep Guy visits an Industrial Revolution cotton mill to weave his own sheets on 19th-century looms, then builds his own mattress at the mattress-supplier to the Queen, in a bid to get a good night's sleep on board his narrowboat. He also makes his own version of another great British invention - an alarm clock.
