Hi Kenny... love your videos. Thanks for taking the time to do them. You remind me of myself when I was your age. Now, I am 51 and still buying/trading/selling/flipping boats. I bought one, sold it and bought 2. Sold those 2 and bought 4. Next thing I know, I rented a shop and all the sudden I am a "boat shop". I was doing carpet in fishing boats and pontoons, rebuilding other boats for people, repurposing boats, you name it. I once bought a boat for $500, sold for $2000, used that to buy a more expensive flip and so on. That $500 boat wound up getting me up to a houseboat which I still live on. Got my Captains license and moving in all kinds of directions. I see good things in your future if you keep it up and do I right. Good luck!

HOLY CRAP!!!! You need a Bow rope tied from the boat to the truck when launching... I've seen so many peoples boats slide off and drift away
Whats your top speed? There is an app called DigiHUD that uses GPS to give you accurate speeds.
TRIPOD TIP: Put a pad eye on the top deck or one of those recessed finger hatch hooks the one with the circle for putting your finger through and run a bungie up the center of the tripod, they hold amazing! -
Right on bro!

Love the Channel, Love the boat.. Does standing all the time ever get tiresome?
-
Dude, you crack me up. I was curious if your pretty truck has a name. I had an 05 "Victory Red" Chevy I named Vicky. Also how did you wire up the reverse accessory lights? (ie wire gauge, connection point, etc.).

-
Good to finally be out on the water. Nice shirt too
-
Why dont you get a trailer dollie so u wont pull nothing. Keep the videos coming. You do some good work.

11:10 If you don't know this already you soon will. Sailboat people are the worst kind of pond scum you'll ever encounter out on the water and at the ramps too. It looks like this one in the wet suit and day glow vest wanted to knock your camera in the water! You were right to keep an eye on her deliberate evil intentions. Good luck with your new boat! Don't paint it red! Can your motor be started with a pull cord also? With FM radio on the boat you may run your battery down too low to start the motor. Maybe not your depth finder tells you how many volts you have left so you should be OK. Remember cold water kills. Don't prolong your fishing season too long. 1:00 trailer lights are not working or you didn't plug them in. Tailgate and tag on firewood trailer is upside down. Never give the cops an excuse to pull you over!

YeeHaw mr friend, Happy and safe boating.

Poor boatmanship without wearing a life vest, same on you

Wow, so much to comment on here. First of all…thank GOD a young male who treats a truck like an f'n truck an not like some glorified piece of artwork! Second, someone who actually gets a boat in the water ALONE and doesn't cry about not having any help! AWESOME! A boat is a UTILITY it does NOT have to be clean! Points for not killing the paddle-boader. Cloudy day, unshaven = respectable. Props (pun intended) to the secondary camera-person….wait, was this all done with a tri-pod????? Nice!!!!! Old Country? How about trying Tim Hicks, a Canadian who can put truly challenge American country!!!! Launching and docking like a boss!

Awesome, Nice boat ride.
Thanks for sharing. and enjoy your day. -

It gets real shallow under the bridge over there. Big ol rock if you go to the right.. some big fish in that lake!

I enjoy your videos. Do you have a mailing address?

Glad you picked up a "new" to you boat that works. Too bad you weren't able to put that motor on the pontoon and go cruising... but now if you find another pontoon to rebuild you can just put that motor on it maybe.
Anyway - 2 Safety issues other than Pfd... (I know you don't always need one legally, but whenever you're in a boat alone it is a good idea especially standing up going in upper range toward wide open - along with that make sure and just clip the emergency stop to the vest so if you do hit a wake or a stump and get tossed over the motor will stop and not run you over...)
OK, I guess 4 things ---
the other 2 - it looked like your boat was not tied to anything when you were backing in, if you had gotten a wake or in choppy conditions that boat would have come right off the trailer and floated away without you... Keep a guide line or something on there until you're on the boat- easier to undo that than swim after it.
- next make sure that you put a safety chain on it to hook to the bow eye for highway and pulling out of water. That one time you forget to latch the winch... no one wants to see the boat stuck on the ramp or as a hood ornament.
there are enough stupid boater people videos on line - don't want you to become one of them.
