It’s September 30th and this is Morgane with your daily marine news 1. RMK Marine has just revealed a new 55-metre explorer superyacht designed with Hot Lab Design. On board, she accommodates up to 12 guests over several impressive cabins, including an expansive owner’s suite on the upper deck forward, two VIP cabins on the main deck, and an additional two VIP cabins on the lower deck as well as a twin cabin with additional Pullman berth. A crew of 16 are also accommodated. 2. The largest concept yacht by Mondomarine has just been announced. The concept was designed in collaboration with Giorgio Vafiadis & Associates. “Arte” comes from modern art influence, creativity, allure and simplicity, and is truly a stunning concept. 3. A futuristic new concept that's inspired by whale tails could change the way we travel through water. At the moment, almost all vessels capable of travelling great distances do so with the help of enormous propellers that provide the driving force. However, the Seataci, a $100million (£77million) luxury yacht envisioned by Montreal-based engineer Charles Bombardier, is designed to travel with the help of a wave motion - just like the way whales do. 4. And lastly, Heesen’s flagship superyacht GALACTICA SUPER NOVA has won the finest new superyacht award and the best exterior design award.
