was there no evinrude dealers there you are almost missing the 2 stroke side of things
-
That Freewheeling unit looks awkward to use, needs some more refinement. These and pedal motors have been made in the past and never went anywhere. Only thing thats still selling is the pedal boats.
Those sea legs look interesting, they must be very expensive -
too bad no interview with evinrude...
-
wasnt evinrude there

Really nice job Stu. Really good video and totally unbiased with the outboard manufacturers. Keep the video coming.

OMG, I. LOVE. YAMAHA. A. LOT.

Hey Dangar, Firstly, Thanks ever so much for sharing your knowledge with the world, gratefully received and eagerly awaiting your videos, I am 50 and relatively new to boating however U tube is a great teacher and very keen to learn more.
Can you recommend a reputable, trustworthy decent outboard mechanic in Brisbane.
I have a 12 foot tinnie with a 20hp 1996 Mercury which on occasion refuses to go into reverse just when you need it , but if you tilt it up and back down it will some times work and go into reverse.??
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards Ant -
Very interesting Stu!

Hello sr. I watch must of your videos.
I'm about to buy a boat with a 60 hp Mercury oil injected.
Can you tell me what is oil injected and what's the difference on two and four strokes.
If you can make a video about it will be better. Thanks Angel vega. -
Hey Dangar Stu,
Great channel. I binge watched the hell out of it. Now as new vids come out, I'm on it. I've a 2 stroke V6 Mercury. Any chance of an ignition timing and/or a link and sync episode? -
Not wrong.
Been to all three.Brisbane is great. -
After talking to all the big manufacturers, if you were to buy a new motor which would you go for?
-
I like the insight you went threw to let viewer know all about the motors. I my self always used Evinrude until last 2013 when I bought my Nissan marine made by tohatsu and it has been pain free every since being I'm a mechanic too this is the first time not having any issues and I have seen a decrease in the market on repairs
-
nice video overview of the boat show, steer clear of the Hondas, Honda Australia does not carry many spare parts so you can have a long wait when repairs.
-
Well done video great coverage of the event

How easy would it be to install an inboard (propeller, shafts, etc) in a 13ft boat?

This week I'm off to the Sydney International Boat Show to look at some sailing boats, interesting marine related products and the major brands of outboard motors. All music available at http://soundscloud.com/dangarstu All writing available at http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/dangarstu
