Top vid mate. Gooooood stuff

Fascinating video, especially for a land-lubber like me! Engineers like you, in my view. are the absolute elite - to monitor the performance of your engines and ancillaries so carefully, and more importantly to know how to react to the data is utterly amazing. I wish you well on all your future voyages

Nice 1 Tim. Very interesting.

Nice vid Tim.....you're a lucky guy doing a job many would envy! A few years ago i sold a Motorhome to an unusual buyer. At 50 he'd retired, sold up everything, bought a yacht....then spent the next 10 years wandering the seas. Sailed single handed from UK to the US and back many times. He still had a yacht and had a berth in Holland so wanted a Motorhome to take there to do a bit of land touring!

you really have a incredible life and adventures..enjoy every moment of it...
-
How big was the crew????
-
Logging temps every 4 hours, should be every hour. Wait till the desalinizer craps out....
-
Probably can't talk about it, but I'd be curious to know what your security forces are for such a vessel and voyage...
-
Only thing that is missing is a garden for fresh vegetables.

Great video, enjoyed it. Keep filming as you cruise around, put some more up

I wish I knew what this yacht looked like .... ??

No pictures of the ship.

Very nicely done! I have made this crossing many times, only on a gray hulls.

I'm at sea myself and it's good to hear that the banter does not change between deckside and engineers no matter the nationality. Thanks for the video.

Enjoyed the virtual vacation. Thanks for the ride!
A crossing from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean onboard a superyacht. A peek into the daily life of an engineer aboard a super yacht. A look around the engine room and some of the technical aspects on one of these big boats. Also the sunsets, the stars and the ever changing ocean on this trip of 16 days. NOTE - this video has subtitles! (Click bottom right of screen) Beautiful, starting out with a flat calm ocean and ending with a large running sea but blue sky most of the way. For just over 2 weeks we were in our own world, I never saw another vessel after leaving Gibraltar. I love the routine one develops and the peace and tranquility being in your own space out there. In no-mans land, nobody’s country in a space that nobody owns. When the trip came to an end, arriving at our first port of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands to clear customs before proceeding to our final destination of St Martin, our peaceful world and routine was broken. As we reconnected with civilisation and life became busy again, I could have easily spent another few weeks out there :) I hope this video can pass on a little of the feeling of life on the ocean..
