Former police recruit Amanda Holley claims in a federal lawsuit that her bosses sexually harassed her at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police academy. Holley, 29, said she was called a “Barbie” and “American Girl doll” because she was too “feminine” to be a cop. According to Holley’s lawsuit, Port Authority Sergeant Erick Torre told her “Don’t forget your sports bra” during a drill because “you’re the only one with a chest.” Torre and four other officers used pepper spray on Holley, and then mocked her in front of the platoon saying she looked like “Angelina Jolie” and asking if she had received a “Boxton injection.” A month before Holley lost her job, Torre told her he would make her face “pretty” for her family if she died in the line of duty. Holley was fired last year after refusing to resign following a failed a firearms test. “They broke me down and kept breaking me down,” she told WNYW-TV.
