The fold out sink cover is stupid. I routered the edge and put a finger hole in a piece of Starboard on my sink for a cutting board. And the teak is already showing its wear in the stern. I been saturating all my Teak with thinned epoxy with great success over the competition norms. Over all the boat is huge for an 11 meter boat. Sorry, I'm the only one of my kind in America that can think.

It seems like a very good, practical and ready to go sailboat for the money. But the counter top and the fold over sink cover are not seaworthy at all. But that might be able to make better?

Wow the fold out sink cover is genius I'm so doing that on my ship! Thanks I subs u!

Yachting Monthly's video review the Sunbeam 36.1. Austria might not be the first country one thinks of for quality sailing boats, but Sunbeam have been producing boats near Salzburg since the late 60s. Read the full review of the 36.1 in the March 2013 issue of Yachting Monthly or visit http://www.yachtingmonthly.com/Sunbeam361 for more info.
