I've flown a lot as a kid with dad and I understand there is no licence required for the 103. but I want a two seater, does that require any kind of licencing ? if so where can i look it up. I have't had any luck with that.

Great First Solo

Nicely done! Thanks for taking us along!
-
Congrats on the solo! Very exciting ;-) Beautiful views too by the way.

You sir may now call yourself a pilot!
-
beautiful lineups on finals and landings but good Lord, how long is that displaced threshold LOL!
-
This makes me want to figure out how to buy one, anyone know the cost of a licence to fly this type?
-
Thanks for the ride! I enjoyed that.

More rudder input will help .

Where do you fly?

Parabéns pelo vídeo e obrigado por compartilhar conosco.

Very nice landings for a first solo. excellent throttle management to control sink rate and softly kiss the pavement. 2nd landing was the worst of the 3 but still very well accomplished and safely done. I miss flying so much. guess I need to buy myself an ultralight.

very nice!

Of all the ultralight videos I've watched while trying to decide if I want to pursue it, yours is the best. Three times around the patch, first time alone, perfect perspective. Thanks! ...and great job!

soloed in a Cesna 178 @ El Paso loads of memories

Thats my old plane!!! Boy do I miss it!

Great flight Rick. Adding rudder input would definitely make the approach easier. Nice video perspective.
-
Nice landing. I'm thinking either it was a little windy or the pilot was looking more at the ground than the horizon, causing him to overcorrect because he didn't realize how his inputs were affecting his roll.

What pleasure to watch. The video view is great! How high did you fly? What where when? I'm just trying to understand. How do you what when how....
Like at when coming in for a landing. You look real high. Did you reduce the speed on the throttle? What brings you down? I don't understand the controls gyro trike ultra light plane. It looks so simple. But is there a danger in angle of attack when ascending. What speed for take off? -
Best camera angle and quality I've seen yet on a quicksilver video! Keep them coming if you can!

Watch the first solo flight of a student working on his sport pilot license. He is flying a Quicksilver Sport 2S Light Sport Aircraft and does 3 touch and goes. Lots of fun!
