Not to mention I think EBay is better for the seller of the product. Amazon really sticks it to the seller. That's why I don't use Amazon anymore.

Heads up.... These kind of blades are bad about clogging up. The fix is to set the teeth wider. If you do not have a saw set (the thing that bends the teeth), then take it to a saw sharpener person and tell him you want a wide set. The first time I ran into the problem was trimming iron wood around my pond. My new blade got dull and I took it to a old time saw sharpener. He says, "I will tell you what your problem is boy, your teeth are too close together and the set ain't right." He took my brand new blade and ground all the teeth off of it and ground me new teeth set farther apart with a wide set. First time out testing this contraption, I got hung, because my revs were not high enough. Unsticking it, I flung back and cut down five more saplings. So look for teeth spaced far apart and wide set. I have used the same damn blade for 20 years and have not worn it out yet.

Hello sir, and thank you for the great video. How has it worked out for you cutting with the saw blade. Has the trimmer been able to hold up? I live in Sweden, and we can't buy machines here with the loop handle, if they have "saw blade capability" (very annoying when the state tells me what i can't do on my own property). But with the stuff i need to clear, the "bike handles" are not practical. But i can get an FS70R here with the loop handle, so if this has worked out for you, that is the machine i'm going to get. Thank you.

I forgot to tell you that I love that 10" blade.

HI COKEMAN250: Thank You for the great video. You explained everything so simple and clear. I would love to know what that kit is called on ebay. I will check my makita to see if it has the raised portion that You talked about and I would need that kit as well. Does the left hand thread nut come with it? Again Thank You for sharing with all of us.

Awesome video brother. I have a cub cadet with interchanging heads. I think I'll be pulling the old style blade off and getting one of these. God bless and keep up the good work.

I'll have to check to see if my Stihl has a solid drive shaft because I could really use that option! Thanks.

Good to see you got that all figured out without having to ask the resident Stihl expert for advice:) I tend to find better deals on eBay as well.
