25 years ago I did the same thing to hoist my main sail up myself. Didn't have YouTube then. God I miss my Hobie. Have a Hobie day y'all!

Just use the jib sheet for the block and line!

Hold the mast forward with one hand and as you release the rope from the cleat you can then use both hands to lower the mast onto the 'Y' as you step towards the back of the trampoline.

Man, that's why I am selling my HC16. I have never put it up by myself... Sometimes we have to sail solo and this is a real shit... I will try one more time. thank you man. ed.
