As a new hairstylist and specially specializing in her haircuts you have no idea how much I'm being learning by watching your videos, i'm forever grateful and I always try to buy something from your Facebook to help you out the way you help me Thank You!!!! 😘😘

When the model has black hair I prefer to wear a white t-shirt thanks

I love all the pointers you have to offer Matt! if there is one thing I'd love to see is... it's often difficult to see the work you do on the model due to your clothing often being the same colour and it's hard to distinguish. I'm not sure if you want to switch out to a blonde model to show us your amazing work, or your wardrobe get lighter? just a thought. please keep up with your awesome tutorials etc thanks a bunch for your generosity of your trade!

You should be watched by everyone in hair school. Your instructional videos are stellar! Thank you so much, Matt!

By the time I watched your video learned much important tools.
Thank you guys for nice information! -
it's a shame that so many ppl pay to go to school to become a licensed Cosmetologist and aren't taught the correct way to section off hair while cutting. Even if you don't physically section the hair off for every cut you should mentally know what the sections are and which partings to cut and when and how to hold them while cutting. Some of the videos I see on here for hair cutting makes me cringe watching ppl take these giant sections and chop them away. They are pushing the hair and not cross checking so they don't realize how off the cut is. That is why you should take 1/4 in sections and never cut more than the tip of your pointer to your knuckle before re-coming to get ready to cut more. I like the way you showed to hold the hair to cut a straight line and only use the tips of the shear to keep from pushing the hair. So I can hold more hair up and not have to re-comb so much. Thanks for the tips.

Hello there....I'm enjoying the Free education. ...I graduated from Paul Mitchell Partner School in 2010. I'm licensed in GA and I haven't found a salon to work in. I've applied to several salons and I feel stuck. Could you give me some advice on what to do differently and as a Salon owner what do you look for in a stylist to become a part of your team?

Your channel has been a life saver! Currently in school:)
-
I see this done so much in salons (no sectioning).... I really don't understand it, but I was taught on a more Sassoon/Aveda approach
-
Love your videos. Keep them coming. Your doing great.

Gran maestro.... Cute
-
you are really cool, but the music is annoying!
-
Great Matt:) Please include body posture in some of the next lessons. Thank you
-
No disrespect, but when your working on dark hair can you wear a light color so your actions stand out from your chest. Black looks cool so mabe try a blonde. All the material is helpful but hard to see sometimes. looking forward to the rest of the 14 steps.

Thank you for that tips ;)
